Oldham based construction and civil engineering specialist Westshield Ltd has made the grade at the University of Salford; the family owned firm has secured a £3.5M contract for two years, with possible extension, to provide civil engineering services as part of a construction works framework.
The University of Salford owns 40 buildings on four campuses spread over 60 hectares of land plus numerous halls of residence located throughout the Greater Manchester area.
The contract will require Westshield to deliver refurbishment, alterations and new build services acrpss the University of Salford's portfolio.
